okay. check this article out. if you are a fan of anything on any site, this concerns you. this bill would effectively KILL the internet. what it dose is it allows company to deny access to any site that allegedly harbors material that is under copyright infringement. so, sites like youtube, deviant art, tumblr, twitter, facebook, ebay, Craigslist, amazon, ANY site that has any sort of material up that infringes on an existing copyright, even without the site's knowledge, can be taken down even without the chance to prove it's case in court.
so please. do yourself and the internet a favor. sign this petition and any other one you can find to kill this bill.
